One year after the US presidential election, 82 percent of those who voted for Donald Trump would give him confidence again. according to Politico and Morning Consult, published today.
Of those who voted for Democratic Party candidate Hillary Clinton on November 8, 2016, now 78 percent would repeat the election.
Only seven percent of Trump’s voters and eight percent of those of Clinton say that if they need to repeat the vote from 2016, they would choose another candidate.
Asked how they would vote in 2020, about three-quarters (76 percent) of Trump’s supporters would be re-elected, and eight percent would back the Democrat.
The Democratic Democrats seem more complacent, although no strong leader and candidate for the US presidency has appeared at all, the US media commented. The poll shows that 99 percent of Clinton’s voters would vote for the Democratic Party’s candidate in 2020.
Among all the surveyed, the unknown Democrat candidate leads with 46 percent to Trump (36 percent), while 18 percent do not have a favorite.
